Iran Condemns U.S. Military Strikes on Radar and Coastal Monitoring Sites, Foreign Ministry Says

Iran’s Foreign Ministry said it strongly condemned U.S. military strikes on radar and coastal monitoring facilities in the Sirik area and on Qeshm Island, calling them a blatant violation of a ceasefire agreement and an act of military aggression against Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. According to Odaily, the ministry said repeated U.S. actions undermining the ceasefire show Washington has no intention of easing tensions or returning to stability, and instead is taking risky actions that put regional security at serious risk. The ministry said the U.S. government would bear responsibility for all resulting consequences and any potential escalation. It added that Iran has an inherent right to self-defense and will use all capabilities and resources to defend national sovereignty, security, and national interests.
