Ningbo Port Reports May Container Throughput Up 1.3% and Cargo Throughput Down 10.9%

Ningbo Port said Ningbo Zhoushan Port Co., Ltd. estimated it handled 4.59 million TEUs (458.7万标准箱) of containers in May 2026, up 1.3% year on year. According to Jin10, the company also estimated cargo throughput at 95.9 million tonnes (9590万吨) in May 2026, down 10.9% from a year earlier.
