According to NS3.AI, Galaxy reported that venture funding in the blockchain and cryptocurrency sectors reached approximately $4 billion in the first quarter, marking a decline of nearly 50% compared to the previous quarter. The number of deals also decreased by 16%, totaling 355. While larger late-stage funding rounds did not recur, there was an increase in smaller seed and early-stage investments.
