India's Foreign Exchange Reserves Cover 11.2 Months of Imports, Says Central Bank

India's central bank has announced that the country's foreign exchange reserves are sufficient to cover 11.2 months of merchandise imports. According to Jin10, these reserves also account for approximately 95% of the outstanding external debt balance.
