Israel's Foreign Minister Discusses Regional Security Concerns with France

Israel's Foreign Minister recently engaged in a phone conversation with France's Foreign Minister to discuss regional security issues involving Iran and Lebanon. According to Jin10, the Israeli minister emphasized that the issue of the Strait of Hormuz is not solely a concern for the United States or Israel, but a global problem. The minister described the situation as maritime terrorism that threatens the global economy, initially instigated by Houthi forces in the Red Sea and now perpetuated by the Iranian regime itself. The minister warned that international complacency towards this serious phenomenon could encourage further threats to navigation freedom and the global economy, potentially affecting other maritime regions. This situation represents a significant disruption to global order. Regarding Lebanon, the Israeli minister highlighted that since March 2, Israel has faced over 2,000 attacks from Lebanese territory, involving missiles and drones. Israel expressed a desire for Lebanon to join the regional normalization and peace process, which is currently hindered by Hezbollah. The minister urged the Lebanese government to take concrete actions against Hezbollah, including addressing its weapons, funding sources, financial infrastructure, legal measures against its senior officials, and its social and educational infrastructure, as well as economic interests such as licenses. Israel remains committed to protecting itself and its citizens from this terrorist state, which has taken control of Lebanon and acts in accordance with the interests of the Iranian regime.
