Treehouse Community Opens Vote on Proposal to Strengthen TREE Token Security

The Treehouse community has opened a vote on a proposal to strengthen TREE token security through risk controls, with voting set to end November 4. According to Foresight News, the proposal seeks DAO approval to upgrade the TREE token contract and add a blacklist feature that could restrict specific addresses from interacting with or transferring TREE during security incidents. The feature is intended to mitigate risks from TREE-related exploits, including hacks and theft, and would operate under established access-control rules. If approved, it would apply to TREE on all supported networks.
