EU officials praised Ukraine’s progress in resisting Russia’s invasion as the bloc began disbursing aid from its €90 billion loan and signaled the potential for additional investment in the war-torn country.
Bloomberg posted on X, as the European Union started releasing funds under the loan program while highlighting Ukraine’s efforts on the battlefield.
The officials said the disbursements mark the start of financial support tied to the loan package and indicated that further investment could follow as Ukraine continues to defend itself and rebuild amid the ongoing conflict.
