Iran's Hormuz Strait Management Draft Under Review by National Security Council

A draft concerning the management of the Hormuz Strait is currently under review by Iran's Supreme National Security Council, according to Odaily. Once the final opinion is formed, it will be submitted to the parliament for a full session review and vote. The report indicates that the drafting process has been ongoing for some time, with several specialized committees of the Iranian parliament involved in research and deliberation. These include the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, the Construction Committee, and the Internal Affairs Committee. The committees and some parliament members had previously proposed different versions and suggestions for the draft. After coordination and integration, a unified text has been formed.
