K Bank is working with Ripple to test blockchain remittances for faster and cheaper cross-border payments. The trial is being done in phases, including on-chain transfers to countries like the UAE and Thailand.

Ripple is testing its RLUSD stablecoin in Singapore’s MAS BLOOM sandbox to automate cross-border trade payments. The pilot with Unloq aims to replace slow manual processes with programmable payments on the XRP Ledger.

Mastercard, Ripple, and Gemini are testing credit card payments using the stablecoin RLUSD on Ripple’s XRP Ledger. The pilot, involving WebBank, aims to settle transactions on a public blockchain and explore faster, more efficient payment options.
