Anthropic PBC has reportedly chosen Nasdaq as its listing venue and is seeking to raise as much as or more than SpaceX in an IPO that could come as early as October, according to Jiemian News. Separately, Elon Musk said on social media on September 13 that he was “extremely confident” SpaceX will send Nvidia’s VR NLV72 AI computer into space next year.
Jiemian News also reported that Anthropic, OpenAI and Google have been discussing cooperation to create an AI industry standards body, with working-group meetings still under way. In a separate financing update, SoftBank Group said it secured a $11.87 billion loan to support its investment in OpenAI, above its earlier $10 billion target, after finalizing a two-year loan agreement last week with commitments from about 20 banks.
On September 14, Alibaba Cloud said DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash has been launched on the Qwen AI platform, with related API services and a Token Plan now available. Also on September 14, ByteDance's Doubao Phone Assistant consumer version was officially released, with its first handset, the Nubia NaviX Ultra, set to go on sale on September 16.
