According to Sina Finance, citing the Financial Times and people familiar with the matter, JPMorgan Chase has stopped providing loans to Leopold Aschenbrenner's hedge fund, Situational Awareness. JPMorgan had previously financed the fund through its prime brokerage business and was one of its main lenders. After the fund posted losses, JPMorgan told it that the lending relationship would end. Morgan Stanley has been in contact with Situational Awareness since its launch but never established a banking relationship. The Financial Times said JPMorgan, Situational Awareness, and Morgan Stanley all declined to comment.
