X-Agent said its latest Medium post, "Beyond Vibe Coding, Toward Agentic Execution," explores how AI agents can complete real-world tasks across platforms and services that involve budgets and authorization. According to Odaily, the post uses booking a trip to Tokyo as an example, describing a workflow in which a user gives one request and AI handles search, comparison, confirmation, and follow-up execution while the user retains control over destination, budget, terms, and final approval.
The company said the shift from recommending options to reliable execution still faces infrastructure challenges, including price changes, login verification, order timeouts, and partial bookings. It said agents need to preserve task state, distinguish confirmed from unconfirmed results, and pause to seek user authorization when necessary instead of retrying automatically or spending funds without approval.
X-Agent said it is separating dialogue, task, execution, and event capabilities, and is testing different execution paths including WebMCP, APIs, MCP tools, browser automation, and Computer Use. It said tools can help agents act, but cannot bypass user permissions, budget limits, or result verification.
The company said the article describes a product direction that is still being explored and validated, not a general booking capability already launched.
