FAA Proposes Rule to Streamline Aircraft Approvals, Reduce Costs

The US Federal Aviation Administration proposed a rule it said would cut the cost and time required to win approvals for new aircraft and engines, according to Bloomberg. The proposal could benefit manufacturers including Boeing Co. and GE Aerospace.
