Sui Blockchain Experiences Temporary Halt Due to Software Interaction Issues

Sui's layer-1 blockchain experienced a temporary halt in block production for over three hours and 30 minutes on Friday. According to NS3.AI, the Sui team attributed the disruptions on both Friday and Thursday to the interaction between the 1.72 software release and the address balances and gas charging logic. The team has announced that a long-term software fix has been implemented by a majority of validators to address these issues.
