Cryptocurrency Wallet Discovered in Fugitive's Computer, UK Police Investigate

According to Odaily, a report by Caijing magazine reveals that a computer taken by fugitive Qian Zhimin contained a cryptocurrency wallet. During multiple searches by UK police, several electronic devices, including phones, computers, and USB drives, were seized. One USB drive held photos of notebook pages, which were allegedly torn out before police confiscation. These pages recorded the boot password and mnemonic phrases for the black computer, such as 'number + love,' along with numerical hints, facilitating the discovery of Bitcoin. Additionally, Caijing reported that last month, the Supreme Court held the eighth national criminal trial work conference, addressing the improvement of judicial rules and focusing on new issues like the handling of virtual currencies involved in cases and the certification of electronic data evidence.
