Binance Expands Soft Staking with Five New Tokens

According to the announcement from Binance, the platform has expanded its Soft Staking service to include five additional tokens: Tron (TRX), Aptos (APT), IOTA (IOTA), ApeCoin (APE), and MultiversX (EGLD). Soft Staking enables users to earn staking rewards on selected tokens directly from their Spot Accounts, offering flexibility to trade, withdraw, or utilize tokens while still earning rewards. The rewards are generated through the on-chain proof of stake mechanism and are distributed daily in the respective native tokens to users' Spot Accounts. The calculation of rewards is based on the daily average balance of eligible tokens held in users' Spot Accounts. With the inclusion of these new tokens, Binance's Soft Staking now supports a total of 15 tokens, including BNB, SOL, TRX, ADA, SUI, TON, NEAR, APT, POL, ALGO, IOTA, S, APE, EGLD, and AXS. To qualify for rewards, users must meet the minimum holding requirement for each token in their Spot balance, and there is a cap on the eligible holding amount. Balances exceeding this cap will not earn additional rewards. Users can activate Soft Staking via the Binance website or app by navigating to the Earn section, selecting Soft Staking, and agreeing to the terms. Average daily snapshots of the Spot Account begin at 00:00 (UTC) the day after activation, with rewards distributed the following day between 00:00 and 08:00 (UTC). It is important to note that U.S. persons, entities, and individuals from sanctioned countries are restricted from using Binance Soft Staking. Users may also face access limitations due to regulatory constraints. Binance reserves the right to amend or cancel the announcement at any time without prior notice.
