Hacker Moves Stolen Ethereum Through Tornado Cash

According to Foresight News, a hacker who stole $81.5 million from Orbit Chain in early 2024 has recently transferred 4,320 ETH, valued at $18.81 million, through Tornado Cash. After the theft, the hacker converted most of the stolen funds into ETH at a price of $2,301 per coin. Since then, the value of ETH has doubled. The hacker has laundered a total of 17,242 ETH, worth $66.35 million, through Tornado Cash. The remaining assets, which have not yet been moved, are valued at $61.6 million. The total value of the assets has increased by $46.5 million since the initial theft. Currently, the hacker's address holds 9,511 ETH, valued at $41.6 million, along with 20 million DAI.
