According to Foresight News, the Penpie project team has reached out to the hacker responsible for the recent attack, proposing negotiations for a bounty in exchange for the safe return of the stolen funds. The team has requested the hacker to contact them confidentially to discuss the terms. They assured that no legal action would be taken if the funds are returned. Previously, Penpie suffered a hack resulting in the theft of approximately $27 million in crypto assets.
