LONG co-founder Nate said personal matters, macro conditions, and declines in major assets will not change his intention to build LONG into a cross-cycle platform. According to Foresight News, he said Robinhood Chain will remain in place for the long term, and the team will continue advancing the project.
He said the team will focus on RWA trading pairs and will not pursue short-term side projects, adding that there is no multi-narrative strategy. Nate said the project is mission-driven and cannot be easily stopped, and that it is still only the beginning.
He also said the industry remains trapped in zero-sum thinking, and that launchpad-style products peaked in 2024 and are unlikely to expand further because they compete too much for traffic and volatility rather than introducing new use cases and new users. The team has already fixed issues involving the wallet and token listings, and has added a LONG PVE filter. An app upgrade will be released soon, with more details due this week.
