The Digital Asset Market Clarity Act is dead, at least for now, after Congress considered legislation to define types of cryptocurrencies and related assets. According to NS3.AI, the bill would have clarified which regulators had authority over different digital assets. SEC Chairman Paul Atkins said the agency needed a law to support its work, but Congress did not pass one.
