According to Jin10, the China Association of Listed Companies said on August 31 that 1,051 listed companies had announced 2026 share buyback plans worth more than 220 billion yuan, with self-funded buybacks accounting for 39% and the overall completion rate of buyback plans at 34%. It also said 273 listed companies had announced 2026 shareholding increase plans, and China Reform Holdings and China Chengtong had together increased holdings by more than 60 billion yuan this year.
