Iranian Speaker Kalibaf Rejects U.S. Claim of Control Over Strait of Hormuz

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf reposted an earlier message in response to U.S. Central Command Commander Cooper's claim that U.S. forces had fully controlled the Strait of Hormuz and cut off Iran's oil exports. According to Odaily, Ghalibaf said the Strait of Hormuz can be secured only without a U.S. military presence and that the strait will not return to its prewar state.
