Thailand Issues Arrest Warrant for Wang Yicheng Over Alleged Crypto Mining Money Laundering

Thailand has issued an arrest warrant for Wang Yicheng over allegations of laundering billions of dollars through illegal cryptocurrency mining. According to NS3.AI, blockchain analytics firm TRM Labs reported that a wallet linked to Wang Yicheng received at least $9.1 million between 2021 and 2022. Thailand’s Special Investigation Department said U.S. law enforcement confirmed Wang Yicheng’s involvement in a digital asset fraud case.
