Moody's Ratings upgraded its outlook for China's banking sector to stable from negative, citing policy support and steady economic growth that it said should underpin a stable operating environment, according to Ming Pao. Moody's said asset risks remain elevated, adding that “unseasoned risks” from rapid industry changes are pushing up risk in banks’ retail loan portfolios.
