OpenSea to Launch Piet Mondrian NFT Collection in Collaboration with Doodles

OpenSea is set to release a new NFT collection featuring the works of renowned Dutch painter Piet Mondrian, in collaboration with NFT and entertainment brand Doodles. According to Foresight News, the Piet Mondrian Estate and Holtzman Trust have approved this reinterpretation project for the first time, with ElmonX handling the market distribution. The "Piet Mondrian x Doodles" series will debut exclusively on OpenSea on June 4, divided into three batches. The collection includes limited edition blind boxes with 555 versions and digital collectibles that come with redeemable physical prints, totaling 300 versions. The trust, established over 80 years ago, has been dedicated to preserving Mondrian's legacy in modern art. The collaboration features five pieces from Mondrian's mature creative period, including his final work, "Victory Boogie Woogie" (1942–1944).
