FLock.io is advancing Sarawak's green sovereign AI initiatives in collaboration with Oxford, serving as a key technology partner to align Oxford's academic research with Sarawak's AI-driven development needs in energy, healthcare, and agriculture. According to Foresight News, this partnership builds on recent UK-Sarawak exchanges in Manchester and Cambridge, and follows a roundtable at Oxford University that facilitated a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The discussions at Oxford focused on the core foundations of sovereign AI, including data sovereignty, AI collaboration, data security governance, and the sovereignty of hardware and computational infrastructure such as chips, GPUs, and storage. Participants reached further consensus on vertical AI applications for Sarawak's key industries, particularly in healthcare, energy, and agriculture.
FLock.io will support a four-month implementation roadmap, emphasizing state-level government large language models (LLM), distributed AI systems, federated learning infrastructure, and a data governance and security framework to enable secure cross-agency collaboration. The company will continue to integrate privacy-preserving AI, federated learning, and trusted model collaboration capabilities into Sarawak's sovereign AI development.
From foundational green sovereign AI cooperation in Manchester to AI economy, policy, and talent development in Cambridge, and further discussions on governance, security, verification, and trusted deployment at Oxford, FLock.io is actively involved in transitioning Sarawak's green sovereign AI from strategic vision to practical, verifiable, and implementable applications.
