Visa's Stablecoin Settlement Pilot Achieves $7 Billion Annualized Run Rate

Visa's stablecoin settlement pilot has reached a $7 billion annualized run rate following the expansion of support from four to nine blockchains. According to NS3.AI, Visa reported a 50% quarter-over-quarter growth in the run rate after incorporating Arc, Base, Canton, Polygon, and Tempo. Additionally, Visa announced that USDC settlement now includes U.S. banks, and the company supports over 130 stablecoin-linked card programs across more than 50 countries.
