Hong Kong Regulator to Combat Investment Fraud with New Mechanism

Julia Leung, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission, announced that the regulator has received nearly 900 investment fraud cases. According to NS3.AI, the commission plans to collaborate with police and licensed institutions to implement a 24/7 payment suspension mechanism. This initiative aims to enable institutions to swiftly halt suspicious payments and enhance coordination with law enforcement.
