Bitcoin Japan plans to spend 660 million yen on its first bitcoin purchase. According to Foresight News, the company will issue unsecured convertible bonds with stock acquisition rights totaling 1.5 billion yen and a second round of stock acquisition rights through a third-party placement to EVO FUND, an investment fund registered in the Cayman Islands. Including funds raised through the exercise of the stock acquisition rights, net proceeds after related fees are expected to be about 9.657 billion yen. Of that amount, 660 million yen will be used for the company’s first bitcoin purchase.

CryptoQuant analyst Axel Adler Jr. said on X that Bitcoin long-term holders added about 371,000 BTC over the past 30 days, lifting total holdings to 16.34 million BTC and a record high. According to Odaily, the accumulation trend has stayed positive for 186 consecutive days. Adler also said the current CDD indicator stands at 313 million, below 899 million a year ago, which he said shows long-term holders are still keeping rather than selling their coins. He added that over the past year, Bitcoin's price fell from $118,600 to $63,800. Adler said reduced supply only means fewer coins are available for sale, and that price increases require buying demand.

US-listed spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded $79.2 million in net inflows on Thursday, extending their inflow streak to three consecutive trading sessions. According to Cointelegraph, the latest gains followed $108 million on Wednesday and $181 million on Tuesday, bringing the three-day total to about $368 million based on SoSoValue data. Cumulative net inflows into US spot Bitcoin ETFs rose to $51.2 billion, while total assets under management increased to $77.7 billion. The inflows came as Bitcoin briefly climbed above $65,000 on Wednesday for the first time since late June, according to CoinGecko. The latest ETF inflows pushed July’s spot Bitcoin ETF flows back into positive territory after the market recorded net outflows of $4.51 billion in June and $2.4 billion in May. If the trend continues, July would become the first month of positive net flows since April, when US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $1.97 billion in inflows. As of Friday, US spot Bitcoin ETFs were down around $5.4 billion in net flows for 2026. Bitcoin traded at $62,851, down about 28% since the start of the year.

Users holding AERO in Binance Alpha Accounts will be able to continue selling the token through Alpha instant within one hour after spot trading opens, while orders and trading volumes will no longer count toward Binance Alpha Points. Binance said users can transfer AERO from Binance Alpha Accounts to Spot Accounts 15 minutes before spot trading starts, and Binance will transfer AERO from users’ Binance Alpha Accounts to Spot Accounts within 24 hours. The exchange described Aerodrome as the trading and liquidity hub of Base. Binance also allocated an additional 100,000 USDC for future marketing campaigns, with details to be announced separately. The announcement stated that TRY is a fiat currency and that TRY trading pairs will only be available to users with verified Binance TR accounts. Binance added that trading eligibility depends on country or region of residence and account verification, and that users in certain countries or regions will not be able to trade the new spot pairs. These restricted locations include Canada, Cuba, Crimea Region, Iran, Netherlands, North Korea, Syria, the United States of America and its territories, and any non-government controlled areas of Ukraine.
