A crypto scam operation allegedly run like a full-scale business in Kyiv has been dismantled by Ukrainian authorities after targeting victims across more than 20 countries with fake investment platforms and a wallet-draining scheme.

According to the announcement from Binance, the exchange will extend its Monitoring Tag to include more tokens on 2026-09-04. The tokens to be added to the Monitoring Tag list are AVA (AVA), Gains Network (GNS), Scroll (SCR), and Towns Protocol (TOWNS). Binance said tokens with the Monitoring Tag show notably higher volatility and risk than other listed assets and are subject to regular review. The exchange added that these tokens may no longer meet listing criteria and could be delisted if future reviews indicate they do not satisfy its standards. Monitoring Tag Review Criteria Binance said it conducts periodic project reviews to determine whether the Monitoring Tag should be added to or removed from tokens based on its latest findings. The review criteria include the team’s commitment to the project, the level and quality of development activity, trading volume and liquidity, and the stability and safety of the network against attacks. Binance also considers network and smart contract stability, the level of public communication, responsiveness to periodic due diligence requests, material or unjustified increases in token supply or changes to tokenomics, evidence of unethical or fraudulent conduct or negligence, and contribution to a healthy and sustainable crypto ecosystem. Binance said other services related to the listed tokens will not be affected, and the Monitoring Tags will be updated shortly after the announcement is published.

Parabola Intelligence (06682) rose 12.7% to HK$30.44, with about 19.19 million shares traded for HK$574 million, after Macquarie initiated coverage with an Outperform rating and a target price of HK$59, according to ETNet. Anthropic is planning a large initial public offering that could value the artificial intelligence company at as much as $2 trillion. According to Sina Finance, the company’s external Long-Term Benefit Trust controls a majority of board seats, raising questions about whether its experimental governance model can withstand public-market scrutiny. The trust does not own any Anthropic equity, but it can appoint or remove a majority of directors. Four of the company’s seven directors were chosen by the trust, including Netflix co-founder Reed Hastings and Novartis CEO Vas Narasimhan. One source said Bernanke was invited in July to make the trust more authoritative and institutionalized. The trust is deeply involved in company oversight. Major actions, such as the release of new AI models, must be disclosed to it in advance. Members meet internally every week and with company leadership every other week, and they attend regular board meetings to discuss major issues with the founders. Despite its broad authority, the trust has mainly served an advisory role so far. One person familiar with its operations said it has never drawn a hard line or forced the company to make a major trade-off between profit and mission. Harvard Law School corporate governance professor Jesse Fried said the structure “builds in conflict.” He wrote in a recent paper that Anthropic is raising money from profit-seeking investors while letting a small group of self-selected trustees decide how much profit to sacrifice for the mission. Other experts warned that Anthropic’s trust design has no precedent. The company is still losing money and will eventually need long-term sustainable profitability, when the mechanism will face real pressure. According to Sina Finance, the trust includes an emergency mechanism under which 85% of shareholders can vote to remove trust members, though that supermajority provision may change after the IPO.
