Silver and Bitcoin Projected to Decline by 2026, Analyst Predicts

According to Odaily, Bloomberg analyst Mike McGlone has indicated that both silver and Bitcoin are expected to face declines by 2026, based on the 50-week moving average. On December 31, the price of silver was approximately $72 per ounce, representing a 73% premium over the 50-week moving average. This year-end price premium has only occurred once before, in 1979, when silver peaked in 1980 before dropping 52% to $15.5. Currently, Bitcoin is priced around $87,000, which is a 13% discount compared to the 50-week moving average. This discount often signals a price bottom, with a potential decline of nearly 55%.
