Dollar Index Rises Amid Currency Exchange Rate Fluctuations

According to ChainCatcher, the dollar index, which measures the U.S. dollar against six major currencies, increased by 0.14% to close at 98.99. At the close of the New York foreign exchange market, the exchange rate for the euro was 1.1652 dollars, down from the previous day's 1.1672 dollars. The British pound was exchanged at 1.3339 dollars, slightly lower than the previous day's 1.335 dollars. The dollar was exchanged for 155.03 Japanese yen, a decrease from the previous day's 155.15 yen. Meanwhile, the dollar rose against the Swiss franc, exchanging at 0.8032, up from 0.7994 the previous day. The exchange rate for the Canadian dollar was 1.3953, slightly higher than the previous day's 1.3948. Lastly, the dollar was exchanged for 9.4173 Swedish krona, up from the previous day's 9.3744.
