The company's revenue for the first quarter was $89.725 billion, slightly down from $89.869 billion in the previous year. Additionally, Berkshire Hathaway experienced a net investment loss of $5.038 billion, contrasting with a profit of $1.48 billion in the first quarter of the previous year.
As of the end of the first quarter of 2025, Berkshire Hathaway's cash reserves reached a record high of $347.7 billion, up from $334.2 billion at the end of the previous quarter.
Furthermore, data from 8Marketcap indicates that the current market capitalization of Berkshire Hathaway's B shares is approximately $1.164 trillion, while Bitcoin's market capitalization stands at about $1.908 trillion, a difference of over $700 billion.
