Sky Plans Osero Upgrade to Connect Ethereum and Base Liquidity Layers and Add Gauntlet USDC Vault

Sky plans to use an Osero upgrade to connect liquidity layers on Ethereum and Base and add a Gauntlet-managed USDC vault. According to Odaily, the proposed changes are scheduled for the November 19 Osero Spell and would use Circle’s Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) to move USDC between the networks. The upgrade also proposes adding the Osero x Gauntlet USDC Prime Vault, a Morpho Vault V2 managed by Gauntlet, on Base, initially funded with USDC. The proposal includes seven adjustments across Ethereum mainnet and Base, including enabling CCTP on both networks, setting limits for cross-chain USDC transfers, establishing permissions on Base, and integrating the vault.
