Hardware wallet maker Keystone said it has reduced its logistics data retention period from 180 days to 90 days, effective immediately. According to Odaily, customers can contact official support after their orders are delivered to request immediate deletion of their data.
Keystone said it emailed all affected customers, suspended shipments and isolated affected devices at partner warehouses, including Amazon warehouses. The team is responding to questions through X and customer support tickets and is continuing to improve the security of its affected-customer lookup page.
Keystone also advised customers to watch for phishing attempts, saying incident-related emails would come only from official email addresses. The company said it would never ask for a recovery phrase by email, direct message or phone, and urged customers to be cautious of messages demanding urgent action. Keystone said it plans to announce further measures in the coming days and apologized to affected customers.
