According to Sina Finance, the U.K. Financial Conduct Authority is investigating Euro Exchange Securities UK (EES) over alleged violations.
The FCA said EES may have breached the Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Transfer of Funds (Information on the Payer) Regulations 2017 between February 1, 2020, and June 4, 2026. It added that EES may have failed to take appropriate steps to identify and assess money laundering risks, and may not have established and implemented policies, controls, and procedures to effectively mitigate and manage those risks. The FCA said the investigation has not reached any conclusion on the facts or on whether EES violated the relevant regulatory rules.
