Salesforce, Meta, Micron Lead CNBC Investing Club Monthly Meeting Winners

According to CNBC, stocks fell after renewed inflation concerns tied to rising oil prices pushed Treasury yields higher, with U.S. oil above $100 per barrel and the 10-year Treasury yield climbing above 4.9% to its highest level since November 2023. Since the Aug. 13 monthly meeting through Wednesday's close, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 2.7%, while the S&P 500 and Nasdaq each lost 2.1%. Salesforce rose 21.3% after reporting better-than-expected revenue and an upbeat outlook, while Meta Platforms gained 9.9% after agreeing to an $18 billion settlement with attorneys general and after the release of Muse Spark 1.3. Micron advanced 8.2% as investors focused on stronger AI memory demand and tighter supply. On the downside, TJX Companies fell 18% after a rare execution miss at Marmaxx, FedEx Freight dropped 17.9% amid tariff and oil-price concerns, and Palo Alto Networks declined 15.4% despite strong quarterly results.
