AVIC Chengdu UAV Appoints Li Zhi as Deputy General Manager

AVIC (Chengdu) UAV System Co. said on September 9, 2026 that its board approved the appointment of Li Zhi as deputy general manager, effective from the date of the board resolution until the current board term expires, according to Jiemian News. Li, born in 1990, holds a PhD in aircraft design from Beihang University and is a senior engineer. He worked at Chengfei Company from April 2018 to December 2019 as a designer and chief designer in the technology center, and has since served as market manager and then head of the company’s operations management department, securities affairs department and board office. As of the announcement date, he did not directly hold any shares in the company, but indirectly held 360,000 shares, or 0.05% of total share capital, through an employee shareholding platform.
