Hormuz Strait Shipping Volume Remains Below 10-Day Average

According to Jin10, six bulk commodity vessels passed through the Strait of Hormuz on Tuesday, below the nine recorded the previous day and the roughly 12-day average over the past 10 days. Kpler preliminary data showed that by 10:00 (UTC+8) on Wednesday, five of the six ships were entering the Strait of Hormuz and one was leaving, including one Panamax vessel and one medium-sized tanker. Meanwhile, 25 bulk commodity vessels passed through the Bab el-Mandeb Strait on Tuesday, with 11 entering and 14 leaving, compared with an average of about 27 ships over the past 10 days. The vessels included two Suezmax tankers, eight Aframax tankers, and one very large crude carrier (VLCC).
