DeepSeek Harness team head Cui Tianyi publicly posted a hiring drive for about 150 positions on the evening of the 7th, saying the company has many new directions, new systems and new requirements to build, according to ETNet.
This is DeepSeek's second public expansion push after a large-scale hiring signal in June. The latest recruitment is more focused, mainly targeting server-side development engineers and Agent elastic-computing R&D engineers. The server-side roles cover large-model research platforms, Agent framework components, R&D efficiency infrastructure, DeepSeek API, online services and data engineering, while the Agent elastic-computing roles cover platform development and maintenance, as well as low-level tuning and technical problem-solving.
Cui said the hiring reflects a long-term, large-scale investment. He said senior engineers with two to 10 years of experience will be the main focus, while fresh graduates and candidates with up to two years of experience are also welcome. For exceptionally strong candidates, the experience requirement may be relaxed. The jobs are mainly based in Beijing, with some roles available in Hangzhou. Cui described the plan as an unprecedented hiring demand for 150 headcount positions.
