Ping An Elects Zhuang Yan As Employee Director

Ping An Insurance (02318) said it held an employee representatives' meeting yesterday and elected Zhuang Yan as an employee director on its 13th board, according to ETNet. The appointment will take effect only after approval of her director qualification by the National Financial Regulatory Administration. Ping An said Zhuang is currently chair of the group's trade union federation committee and secretary-general of its employee health and welfare office. She previously served as deputy general manager of the planning and finance department at Ping An Property & Casualty Insurance's western China business division. Zhuang will not receive any director's fee and will only be paid employee compensation under the company's remuneration policy and her executive role.
