U.S. Central Command Releases Video of Iranian Tanker Kourosh Sinking

U.S. Central Command on Saturday released video showing the Iranian tanker Kourosh on fire, heavily listing, and sinking in the Gulf of Oman after a U.S. strike the previous day. According to Sina Finance, U.S. Central Command said on X that the tanker sank in the Gulf of Oman and became part of the Iranian navy at the bottom of the sea after what it described as the precise action and professionalism of U.S. service members. According to Sina Finance, U.S. Central Command said the tanker was one of three Iranian tankers targeted after Iran's Revolutionary Guards fired ballistic missiles at a U.S. aircraft carrier and a guided-missile destroyer.
