Hengrui Medicine and its subsidiary Suzhou Shengdiya Biopharmaceutical have received notice from China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) approving the company's self-developed multi-target receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) inhibitor Aibit (famitinib malate) in combination with the PD-1 inhibitor Aireka (camrelizumab injection) for first-line treatment of patients with recurrent or metastatic cervical cancer whose PD-L1 expression is positive by a fully validated test method, with a combined positive score (CPS) of at least 1, according to Jiemian News. The approval expands the regimen from second-line to first-line treatment for advanced cervical cancer.
