The People's Bank of China held a special lecture on July 10, with PBOC Party Secretary and Governor Pan Gongsheng attending and chairing the event.
According to Jin10, Zhu Min, Dean of the National Institute of Financial Research at Tsinghua University and a former Deputy Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, delivered a lecture titled “The Evolution of the International Monetary System: Theory and Practice.” He discussed the development of the international monetary system, measurement standards for currency internationalization, and the development of digital currencies, presenting research findings and constructive ideas and exchanging views with attendees.
Attendees included PBOC Deputy Governors Zhu Hexin, Lu Lei, and Zou Lan, as well as Li Bin and Liu Bin, Deputy Heads of China’s State Administration of Foreign Exchange. Staff from PBOC departments, branch offices, and some affiliated units, along with the resident discipline inspection and supervision team and relevant personnel from SAFE departments, participated at the main venue and sub-venues.
