Three different shipping routes have emerged in the Strait of Hormuz, CNN reported on June 29.
According to Jin10, the report said the first route is in the northern part of the strait and is controlled by Iran. The second route runs through the middle of the strait and was the regular international shipping lane before disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz. The third route is in the southern part of the strait, passing waters near Oman, and is coordinated by Oman, the United States, and the International Maritime Organization.
The report said that with different parties managing the routes, shipping order in the Strait of Hormuz has become more complex.
