A trader said ByteDance has recently raised its AI capital expenditure plans and is discussing major investments in data centers and AI infrastructure. According to Odaily, trader @nft_hu wrote on X that ByteDance is discussing capital spending of up to about $70 billion in 2026 for data centers and AI infrastructure. The post said part of the funding could come from ByteDance’s roughly $50 billion in profit in 2025. It also said that under a more aggressive internal plan, ByteDance has discussed further increasing 2027 capital spending to about $89 billion to $100 billion.
