A research note from CITIC Securities said it expects the overall performance of the electronics sector to improve across the board in the second quarter of 2026, with memory and copper-clad laminate (CCL) suppliers benefiting most from price increases, according to 36Kr. The note added that AI-related names—including memory, PCB and power-supply companies—are expected to maintain strong momentum.
In the “self-reliance” segment, it said fab and packaging-and-testing utilization rates are continuing to rise and that the pace of price increases is becoming clearer. It also pointed to ongoing expectations for higher shipment volumes and improving financial results for semiconductor equipment and domestic computing-power suppliers. In consumer electronics, the report said Apple and Huawei supply-chain companies are performing well, while on the IC design side it highlighted firms with hybrid-packaging memory businesses and those seeing volume growth from new products.
