CME FedWatch: 69% Odds Fed Holds Rates in July; 48.8% Odds of One 25bp Hike by September

CME’s FedWatch tool put the probability of the US Federal Reserve keeping interest rates unchanged in July at 69%, with a 31% chance of a cumulative 25-basis-point hike, according to 36Kr. For September, FedWatch showed a 36.6% probability of no change, a 48.8% probability of a cumulative 25-basis-point hike, and a 14.6% probability of a cumulative 50-basis-point increase.
