Crypto financial infrastructure provider Cycles said it will migrate its payment app, Cycles Pay, and institutional clearing product, Cycles Prime, to Circle’s layer-1 blockchain Arc. According to Foresight News, Cycles cited several reasons for choosing Arc, including sub-second block times, throughput of more than 3,000 transactions per second, native ecosystem support for USDC, and an in-protocol privacy roadmap.
The company said it plans to deploy production-grade products on the first day Arc’s mainnet goes live.
Cycles also provided updates on current adoption of Cycles Pay, saying the application is already live on the Neutron testnet. It reported about 20,000 email registrations and 3,500 wallets, and said around 20 enterprises have used the product in private testing.
