It also rose against the Swiss franc, reaching 0.7873 francs from 0.7864 francs. However, the dollar weakened against the Canadian dollar, trading at 1.3832 dollars, down from 1.3842 dollars. Lastly, the dollar appreciated against the Swedish krona, closing at 9.3155 krona, up from 9.3059 krona.
